New fields at HEAD 2022

This year rowing at the Head of the River Amstel will be possible in a number of new fields.

Last year we added Double 8* and Ladies Double 8*. These fields will race again this year and do not have rules regarding age.

And, for the first time, Elite 4* and Light Elite 4* will be at the starting line of this year’s race.

Mixed Teams

Would you like to row in a mixed ladies/men's team? Starting this year, you can, in the following open fields: V8+, V4* and V8*. Additionally, full men's teams can row in these fields. For these fields we do not use correction factors.

In addition, there are the mixed fields 4* and 8+. Here the ratio of women to men is 50-50.
