Registering Boat Trailers

In the weeks leading up to the Head weekend, all boat trailers must be registered with the race organization.

Since autumn 2025, rowing regattas on the Amstel have been using a shared system to register boat trailers (Form is in Dutch for now):

After registering, you will receive an email from the organization with further details in the run-up to the event.

On the Jan Vroegop Singel: unload as much as possible directly and park elsewhere

Volunteers from the Head organization guide the vehicles to their unloading location on the Jan Vroegopsingel. The large boat trailers driving to the Jan Vroegopsingel are given a fixed place where they do not need to be unloaded immediately. Smaller boat trailers should be unloaded here as much as possible. The boats should then be placed in the racks and not left on supports or trestles, as this limits the available space.

An empty boat trailer can be parked on the grounds of the Police Training Center , behind the Rozenoord Bridge. An empty boat trailer can be parked there from Friday afternoon 07-03 until no later than Sunday evening 09-03.
Only the outer parking lanes (the two closest to the access road) are available!

Additionally, the area at Jan Vroegopsingel under the Rozenoord Bridge is also available.

All coastal boats should be launched at rowing club Willem 3.
